Indie rock band British Sea Power play Whelans on February 6.

They're just off the back of their first album in four years, Let The Dancers Inherit The Party, having released their debut nearly 15 years ago, an album that breathed life into British indie rock. With this sound, they incorporated sharper elements of Britpop - think Pulp & the Manic Street Preachers - blended with the artistically-inclined ambition of Bowie, letting British music history percolate within their sound, laying the groundwork for bands like Arctic Monkeys to dominate the national, and ultimately Western consciousness.

Watch the video for 'Remember Me'.

Tickets cost €17.50 from Ticketmaster and WAV Tickets. Doors open at 8pm.
