Return to the glory days of Britpop as Shed Seven return to Dublin on February 2 to play the Academy, having just released their new album, Instant Pleasures.
This new album comes after two years of writing and 16 years since their last, and was produced by Killing Joke's Youth - also known for U2, Kate Bush & Depeche Mode. Formed in York in 1990, they never reached the level of popularity of Blur or Oasis, but their shoegaze-tinged Britpop spawned 16 top 40 hits, peaking with 'Going For Gold'.
Tickets, priced from €28.50, are available from Ticketmaster. Doors open at 7pm as it's an early show.
