Incredible Irish folk voice Lisa O'Neill plays Belfast's Sunflower Bar as part of the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival on May 3.
Her fourth LP, Heard A Long Gone Song came out in 2018, her first on Rough Trade imprint River Lea Records. Featuring a broad cast of musicians in Cormac Begley, Christophe Capewell, Libby McCrohan and Radie Peat, it's a blend of traditional songs & original compositions. Often described as folk with a punk sensibility, her earthy poetry is evocative not just of the past but of the deeply subjective now, and her latest received universal acclaim. Watch her play 'Rock The Machine' live.
Tickets are available from CQAF, priced £10. Doors open at 8pm.
