• Interpol Announce Dublin Show

    With their new album, Marauder set for release via Matador Records on August 24, it’s been announced that Interpol will play Dublin’s Olympia Theatre on November 18. Alongside a date at Manchester’s O2 Apollo two night before, the show has been added as part of the band’s 2018 world tour. Ranging from €46-56, tickets for the Dublin show are on sale now.   • Low Set For Vicar Street Show

    Duluth indie rock legends Low will return to Dublin to play Vicar Street on October 17. The news comes off the back of the announcement of their forthcoming album – a release coinciding with their 25th year together – Double Negative. Watch three videos for the opening three tracks from the album below. Tickets for the Dublin show cost €30 and go on sale on Friday at 9am.    

  • David Byrne Set For Dublin Show

    As part of his American Utopia tour, David Byrne will play Dublin’s 3Arena on October 24. Supporting the legendary Talking Heads frontman and solo artist is Benjamin Clementine. Tickets for the show are priced at €49.50 and go on sale this Friday, June 15 at 10am.

  • Nicki Minaj and Future Set For 3Arena

    As part of the pair’s forthcoming NICKIHNDRXX tour, Nicki Minaj and Future will play Dublin’s 3Arena on Friday, March 15 2019. Minaj will be touring off the back of her forthcoming new album, Queen, which is set for release on August 10. Tickets for the show are priced at €66.50 and go on sale on Friday, June 15 at 10am.

  • Philip Glass Set for Dublin Residency

    There’s gig announcements, then there’s this. It’s been announced that Philip Glass and his ensemble will take up a special residency at Dublin’s National Concert Hall across October 26-27. The legendary American composer will perform two of his most seminal works – Music in 12 Parts and Koyaanisqatsi – as well as curate with the venye one-off events as part of this one-off weekend in the city.   • Unknown Mortal Orchestra Announce Dublin Date, Unveil Video for ‘Hunnybee’

    A day on from delivering a triumphant set at this year’s Forbidden Fruit, it’s been announced that New Zealand’s finest Unknown Mortal Orchestra will return to Dublin on November 25 for a show at the Academy. Accompanied the news is the unveiling of the video for the band’s new single (and, in our opinion, the song of the summer – sorry Limmy) ‘Hunnybee’. Check that our below.   • Johnny Marr To Play Dublin and Belfast

    It’s been announced that Johnny Marr will play Dublin and Belfast in November. The guitarist, solo artist and Smiths legend will play Belfast’s Ulster Hall on November 1 and the National Stadium, Dublin on November 2. Tickets go on sale on Friday at 9am, priced €33.50 inc. booking fee for Dublin, and £28.50 inc booking fee standing/£31.00 inc booking fee seated for Belfast.

  • Line-Up Announced For Inaugural Coaster

    Hosted by Ewen Friers’ CATALAN!, New Pagans (pictured), fast-rising experimental alt-folk artist Joshua Burnside and Belfast dream-pop trio Beauty Sleep are amongst the names set to play the inaugural Coaster in Portrush on July 20. A self-proclaimed “summer gathering on the North Coast celebrating local music” the event will take place at the Atlantic Bar and Babuska.   • Mac DeMarco Set For Belfast Show

    Canadian indie rock hero Mac DeMarco will play Belfast’s Limelight 1 on Monday, October 29. Having played Dublin’s Vicar Street back in November last year, it will double up as DeMarco’s debut show in the city. Tickets for the show – which is hosted by Strange Victory – are priced £24.50 and go on sale on Tuesday, October 29. Doors are at 6.30pm.
