• Yep, It’s Happening: LCD Soundsystem Set For Malahide Castle in June

    Confirming what was rumoured at the start of the week, it’s been confirmed that LCD Soundsystem will return to Dublin to play Malahide Castle next summer. Having played an acclaimed residency at Olympia Theatre in September, James Murphy and co. – who released their critically-acclaimed fourth studio album American Dream earlier this year – will play the outdoor venue on June 5.   • Morrissey Set For 3Arena Show in February

    Love, hate or merely tolerate him, Stephen Patrick Morrissey will return to Dublin’s 3Arena on February 20. Set to release his eleventh solo studio album on November 17, Morrissey released his latest single ‘I Wish You Lonely’ on Tuesday. Ticket prices for the Dublin are TBC.   • Phoenix Set For Olympia Show

    Having last played the city as part of Longitude back in 2013, French indie-pop quartet Phoenix will play Dublin’s Olympia Theatre on March 27, 2018. The show will mark the end of a string of European live dates for the band, who have been touring worldwide to promote their new album, Ti Amo, since May. Tickets for the Dublin show are priced €34.50 and go on sale this Friday at 9am.

  • Kendrick Lamar and James Blake Set For Dublin Date

    Having last played the city at last year’s Longitude Festival, Kendrick Lamar will kick off his Damn. at Dublin’s 3Arena on February 7. Kicking starting a 15-date string of shows, culminating in Berlin on March 5, Lamar will be supported on all shows by James Blake.   • Father John Misty Set for Vicar Street Return

    Having released his critically-devoured third studio album, Pure Comedy, back in April, Josh Tillman AKA Father John Misty will play Dublin’s Vicar Street on May 28 next year. Tillman’s last show in the city – as part of his I Love You, Honeybear tour – was in the same venue back in October, 2015. Tickets for the May 2018 are priced at €36.50 and go on sale this Thursday at 9am.

  • Death From Above Set For Dublin Show

    Having last played the city back in 2015, Toronto punk rock duo Jesse F. Keeler and Sebastien Grainger AKA Death From Above will play Dublin’s Olympia on March 14, 2018. The band – formerly known as Death From Above 1979 – released their third studio album, Outrage! Is Now, earlier this month. Tickets for the Dublin show – which features support from the mighty Le Butherettes – go on sale on Friday, September 22 at 9am priced €30 including booking fee.

  • Perfume Genius To Play Dublin in December

    Having released one of the very best albums of 2017 in No Shape back in May, it’s been announced Seattle-based musician Mike Hadreas AKA Perfume Genius will play Dublin’s Tivoli Theatre on Saturday, December 2. Hadreas last performed in the city at Longitude last year and The Sugar Club back in 2011. Tickets for the Tivoli show – which are priced €23.50 + fees – go on sale on Friday, September 8 at 9am.   • Liam Gallagher Set For Intimate Belfast Show

    Following the release of his solo debut album, As You Were, Liam Gallagher will play a string of UK dates in December. Ahead of that, the Oasis frontman has announced he will play an intimate show at Belfast’s legendary Ulster Hall on Monday, October 30.   • Glen Hansard Set For Irish Christmas Shows

    With special guests to be announced, Glen Hansard has announced that he will play three special, full-band Christmas shows in Dublin and Belfast in December. The performances – which promises to “bring the big band back together with strings, horns, bells and whistles – will stop off at Belfast’s Ulster Hall on December 15 and Vicar Street on December 17 and 18. Hansard performed two sold-out intimate shows in the latter Dublin back in August.
