• Kamasi Washington, John Talabot, Little Dragon and More Added to the Bill for Beatyard 2018

    Although they’ve always delivered in the past, the line-up for next year’s Beatyard is shaping up to be something rather special. Set to return to Dun Laoghaire Harbour across the Bank Holiday Weekend of August 4 and 5, the festival has revealed Kamasi Washington, Little Dragon, The Sugarhill Gang, The Skatalites, John Talabot, Joy Orbison, Modeselektor (DJ Set), Le Boom, I Am The Cosmos, Bad Bones and Bodytonic DJs have joined the bill.   • New Cork Festival It Takes A Village Announced

    For all the country has to offer in the way of festivals, Ireland has largely lacked one properly centred around its non-camping accommodation. That’s where new festival It Takes a Village comes in. Set for its inaugural outing in Trabolgan in East Cork across April 13-15, the Good Room-curated festival offers an ATP-esque alternative in the form of 150 self-catering houses and apartments, as well as 35 fully-serviced campervan sites in Trabolgan Holiday Village.   • Django Django, Lankum and More Set for eir Other Voices

    With the likes of Aine Cahill, Perfume Genius, and Songhoy Blues already announced, three new acts have been added to the bill for this year’s eir Other Voices in Dingle. Set to return to return across December 1-3, the annual Wild Atlantic Way festival has revealed that Django Django (pictured), Lankum, Loyle Carner and Booka Brass Band will make an appearance at St. James’ Church at this year’s outing.
