• Eddie Vedder Set For 3Arena Show

    As part of a forthcoming European tour, Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder has announced that he will play Dublin in June. With support from Glen Hansard, Vedder will stop off at Dublin’s 3Arena on Friday, June 9. Tickets – which go on sale this Friday from 9am – are priced at €61.45 additional.  

  • Kamasi Washington To Play Dublin

    Having released of the best albums of the last few years in 2015’s sprawling – and very aptly-titled The Epic – it’s been announced that L.A. saxophonist, bandleader and collaborator with the likes of Kendrick and Rtj Kamasi Washington will play Dublin’s National Concert Hall on Thursday, June 29. Tickets – which range from €27.50 to €36 – will go on sale from March 3.   • Beak> Set For Belfast Show

    Comprised of Portishead’s Geoff Barrow, Billy Fuller and Will Young (not this guy, no), Bristol’s Beak> will play Belfast’s Limelight 2 on Saturday, April 1. Hands down one of the UK’s most consistently engaging electronic acts, the trio have released two full length albums and one EP of Kraut-tinged mastery since forming back in 2009. Tickets for the band’s Limelight 2 show go on sale on Friday, March 3 at 9am, priced £16.50 and booking fee.

  • Ryan Adams Set for Irish Shows

    Having recently released his critically-acclaimed sixteenth studio album, Prisoner, it’s been announced that Ryan Adams will play three Irish dates in September. As well as play Belfast’s Ulster Hall on September 8 and Cork’s Opera House on September 9, Adams’ tour will conclude at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre on September 11. Tickets go on sale next Friday (February 24) at 10am.   • Cat Power Set For Vicar Street

    Having last played the city back in 2014, it’s been announced that Atlanta, Georgia indie rock singer-songwriter Chan Marshall AKA Cat Power will play Dublin’s Vicar Street on Thursday, March 16. Tickets for the show are priced €30 and go on sale this Friday (February 10) at 9am.  

  • Aphex Twin Set For Forbidden Fruit

    Set to return for its seventh installment on the June Bank Holiday Weekend (June 3-5), it’s been revealed that  Richard D James will headline the Sunday night of this year’s Forbidden Fruit festival in Dublin. With Orbital headlining the Saturday, Bon Iver topping the bill on Monday night and Flying Lotus, Lisa Hannigan, The Staves, Gordi and Paul Thomas Saunders amongst the acts for set for the Monday installment, it’s shaping up to be the strongest Forbidden Fruit line-up to date. Tickets can be bought here priced €145.50 for a 3-day weekend ticket.

  • Mac DeMarco Set For Vicar Street

    Having recently announced that he’s finished recording This Old Dog, the forthcoming follow-up to 2015’s Another One, indie rock chill-out king Mac DeMarco will stop off at Dublin’s Vicar Street on November 22. With previous Irish dates at Electric Picnic 2015 and the Workman’s Club in Dublin back in 2013, tickets for the Vicar Street show – priced €25 including booking – go on sale this Friday at 9am. This Old Dog is out via Captured Tracks on May 5.

  • Chelsea Wolfe Set For Dublin Show

    Two years on from an extraordinary show at The Button Factory, Californian singer-songwriter Chelsea Wolfe has announced that she will return to Dublin to play Whelan’s on April 15. Kicking off an 11 date European tour that concludes in Athens two weeks later, full ticket details for the show – including price – are yet to be announced.   • Ride Announce Irish Dates

    30 years on from forming in Oxford, shoegaze pioneers Ride have announced they will play Belfast’s Limelight on March 21 and Dublin’s Olympia on March 22. Having been busy working on their first studio album in twenty years, Andy Bell and co. reunited in 2014 and performed a series of tour dates in Europe and Northern America in early 2015, as well as playing the likes of Coachella and Primavera. Tickets for both shows go on sale this Friday, January 27, priced £24 + booking fee for Belfast and 34.50 inc. booking fee for Dublin.

  • Run The Jewels Set For Dublin and Belfast

    Having surprise released their self-titled third studio album on Christmas Day, Run The Jewels have announced that they’ll kick-start the forthcoming European leg of a World tour with a brace of Irish shows. Killer Mike and El-P will stop off at Belfast’s Limelight on March 28 (poster above has incorrect date) and Dublin’s Olympia on March 30. Tickets go on sale this Friday, January 20th at 10am.
