• Ham Sandwich announce Dublin Show

    Fresh from supporting Arcade Fire at Marlay Park at the weekend, and with a Leopardstown date this week, Meath indie rock band Ham Sandwich have revealed that they will be performing at Whelan’s in a few weeks time. The band will be playing at the Dublin venue on July 15. Tickets are priced at €17.50 and are on sale now.

  • Public Enemy announce Belfast show

    Legendary New York hip-hop group Public Enemy are set to play Belfast’s Limelight 1 on Tuesday, August 5. Consisting of Chuck D, Flavor Flav, DJ Lord and more, the show will mark pioneering Long Island outfit’s debut show in the city, thirty two years after they formed. Lauded for albums including Fear of a Black Planet and It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back, the group released their twelfth studio album, The Evil Empire of Everything, back in 2012.   • The Frames announce one-off Dublin Show

    Well, now here’s an exciting piece of news: The Frames are getting back together for a one-off show at Whelan’s next week. The legendary indie-folk rock outfit will be assembling themselves for a show next Monday, June 30. Whelan’s will be celebrating their 25th birthday this year, and this gig is part of the celebrations. Tickets will cost €20 and go on-sale tomorrow, Tuesday June 24 at 2pm.

  • Clap Your Hands Say Yeah to play Dublin

    Pennsylvania indie rock band Clap Your Hands Say Yeah have announced a Dublin show. The American indie rockers, will be visiting Ireland this October. The band, fresh from the release of their fourth studio album, Only Run, will be playing at The Button Factory on October 13. Tickets – available from June 17th – will set you back €20.   • Glass Animals announce Dublin show

    Chill indie-poppers Glass Animals have announced a Dublin show for this Autumn. The band, who hail from Oxfordshire, have just released their debut album Zaba and will include a trip to Whelan’s on their Autumn tour. The show will take place on October 18 and tickets are available for €16.50. These will go on sale this Wednesday 18 at 9am. Check out the latest single from the album below.

  • The Antlers Announce Dublin Show

    Brooklyn indie rockers The Antlers will be paying Dublin a visit this October this coincides with the release of the band’s fifth studio album, Familiars, due for release in June. The show will take place on October 10 at the Olympia Theatre, with tickets priced at €22.50. These go on sale this Friday May 9 at 9am. Last month The Antlers unveiled the video for ‘Palace’, the first single to be taken from Familiars. Watch it below.
