The Model in Sligo have announced details of a forthcoming workshop with artist Arno Kramer. Artists of all disciplines are invited, and particularly those who make use of the medium of drawing. Kramer, who is originally from The Netherlands, has exhibited in Ireland extensively over the past two decades and was previously a lecture in the AKI (Academy of the Visual Arts and Design) in Enschede, the Netherlands. High Winds Move Slowly, a collaboration between Kramer and Henk Visch, is currently being shown in The Model as well.
The class is due to take place from 10am to 5pm on Tuesday October 31st, with tickets ranging from €40 to €60. Artist are advised to bring ten recent drawings in order to spark a critical dialogue at the start of the day. Full details, including links to purchase tickets, can be found online here.
