• Iron Maiden Set For Belfast Return

    English heavy metal legends Iron Maiden have announced their return to Belfast. The Bruce Dickinson-fronted band, who last played the city back in 2018, will headline Belsonic at Ormeau Park on Monday, June 13, 2022. The show is one of many dates in the band’s rescheduled The Legacy of the Beast tour throughout next year. Tickets go on sale on Friday, at 9am.

  • Metronomy Set For Olympia Theatre Return

    Metronomy are set to make their return to Olympia Theatre. Having last played it back in 2014, the Joe Mount-fronted English indie-pop outfit will stop off at the Dublin venue on April 26th 2022 as part of a new UK and Irish tour. Priced from €25, tickets go on sale this Friday (March 26th) at 10am. To mark the news, the band have also announced a special release to mark the 10th anniversary of their breakthrough LP, The English Riviera. Featuring six previously unreleased bonus tracks, The English Riviera 10th Anniversary Edition is out on April 30th.   • Goat Girl Set For Whelan’s Show

    South London post-punk foursome Goat Girl are set to play Dublin later this year. The band, who release their second studio album On All Fours via Rough Trade on January 29, will – all being well in the world – play Whelan’s on September 18. Tickets for the show are €15 and go on sale this Thursday (January 21) at 10am. Described by Goat Girl’s Lottie Cream as a song centering “around the idea of losing a grip on reality and how often this can happen” watch the video for ‘Sad Cowboy’ from On All Fours below.

  • Erasure Set For Dublin’s 3Arena

    Synthpop legends Erasure are Ireland-bound. Having last played the city back in 2018, Andy Bell and Vince Clarke will return to Dublin to play the 3Arena on October 4th 2021. Marking the release of their new album, The Neon, the tour will take the duo across Europe throughout the month. Tickets for the Dublin show cost €64.50 i and go on sale on Friday, September 4th at 10am.

  • Idles Set For Vicar Street Shows

    Idles are set for their return to Ireland. The Joe Talbot-fronted five-piece will play Dublin’s Vicar Street on May 16th and May 17th. Check out the full May/June dates below. Tickets for the Dublin show go on sale on Friday, August 28th at 10am. Presale begins at 10am on Wednesday, August 26th.

  • Killing Joke Set For Dublin Return

    Killing Joke are set to make their Dublin return. Having delivered a resounding set at the Academy last August, the Jaz Coleman-fronted band will return to the city to play the Button Factory on Friday, June 12th. Support comes from Paranoid Visions. Tickets cost €32.00 and go on sale on Friday, March 13th at 10am. Killing Joke first played Dublin back in 1983 and have stopped off in the city every decade since.

  • Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Set For Dublin and Belfast Shows

    One of the very finest face-melting propositions around, Newcastle heavy psych masters Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs will play a brace of Irish dates in November. The Matthew Baty-fronted band, who release their new album Viscerals in April, will play the Belfast’s The Empire on November 26th and Whelan’s in Dublin on November 28th. Priced £18 and €20.00 respectively, tickets go on sale on Friday, March 13th at 10am.

  • Bright Eyes Set For First Irish Show in 18 Years

    Bright Eyes are set to play their first Irish show in 18 years. Thanks to Selective Memory, the Conor Oberst-fronted Omaha indie folk band will play Dublin’s Vicar Street on Friday, September 4th. The show is the latest live date to be announced from the band following a 9-year hiatus. Tickets cost €37.50 standing and €42.50 seated. They go on sale at 9am on Friday, February 21st.

  • The Strokes Set For Belfast Show

    The Strokes are set to play Belfast. The NYC band, who return with the sixth studio album this year, will play the Waterfront Hall on February 24th. Tickets go on sale tomorrow morning (Wednesday, February 5th) at 10am. The Julian Casablancas-fronted band last played the city (and legendary Bedford Street venue Ulster Hall) back in February 2006.

  • The Rapture Set For Dublin and Belfast

    Marking their first Irish shows in quite a few years, NYC dance-punk heroes The Rapture will play Belfast and Dublin in July. As well as a Selective Memory late show at Vicar Street in Dublin on Friday, July 3rd, the trio will also play the Limelight in Belfast, courtesy of Open House Festival, on Saturday, July 4th. Tickets for both dates go on sale from 9am on Friday, February 7th.
