• Monday Mixtape: The Hot Sprockets

We asked Dublin indie-soul maestros The Hot Sprockets to share some tunes that inspired them during the making and recording of their latest album ‘Dream Mover’ which was released last week. As a band lately, we’ve really opened our horizons as to where we can go as musicians these batch of songs and artists had a huge influence on our sound and mindset for Dream Mover. Some are direct production references and others for their stylistic and instrumental approach. Enjoy! DREAM MOVER by The Hot Sprockets

  • Watch: The Hot Sprockets – Right Spots

Dublin’s blues rock dedicants The Hot Sprockets have shared a tripped-out new video for their recent single ‘Right Spots’. Taken from their forthcoming album Dream Mover which is set to land later this year, ‘Right Spots’ is an infectious and driving outing to watch a bar fight to. If there are no bar fights around, the visual accompaniment for the track curtesy of Little Beast founder Luke Sweetman, three animators and a 30-strong crew is a much more vibrant affair. • Watch: The Hot Sprockets – Comin’ On

One of the best visual accompaniments that we have seen from an Irish band in quite some time, Dublin band The Hot Sprockets have unveiled the wonderful video for their new single, ‘Comin’ On’. A huge effort involving a case of colourful extras, the video was shot in one take by Little Beast Films at the rather beautiful Hazel Hatch House. The single itself is set for official release on September 20.
