    Taking place in scenic, forested surroundings of Newry’s Narrow Water Castle, Tanglewood Music and Arts Festival is one of colourful and exciting homegrown music festivals out there. Back for its third year – easily with its strongest line-up to date – the festival is set to take place over two days: August 3 and 4.     Headlined by Kasabian on the Saturday, June 1 and Primal Scream the following night, Forbidden Fruit Festival – set to take place on the grounds of Royal Hospital Kilmainhaim, Dublin – will also features a whole host of eclectic talent; everyone from Chic to James Blake to Four Tet and Crystal Castles.     Taking place over a month from June 6 to June 30, Belfast Photo Festival will celebrate some of the most exquisite national and international photography and visual culture. Undoubtedly Northern Ireland’s premier visual arts festival, this year’s city-wide celebration of the photographic image will have a variety of stunning exhibits featuring the cream of local and global talent.
