• Microdisney Set For Vicar Street Show

    It’s been announced that 80s Irish indie cult band Microdisney will play Dublin’s Vicar Street on February 18, 2019. Formed in Cork in 1980 by Cathal Coughlan and Sean O’Hagan, the pair will play returned to the stage to play shows in Dublin’s National Concert Hall and London’s Barbican Hall in June.   • BICEP Announce Belfast and Dublin Dates

    As part of a string of EU and UK dates, London-based Belfast electronic duo Matt McBriar and Andy Ferguson aka BICEP will make appearances in Belfast and Dublin in November. As well as stopping out Belfast’s The Telegraph Building alongside Voiski (Live), Hammer and Schmutz on Saturday, November 3, the pair will play their biggest Dublin show to date at the Olympia on Friday, November 2. Tickets for the shows go on sale this Friday at 10am, priced at £27.50 and €31.40 respectively.

  • Chvrches Set For Irish Shows

    As part of a UK and Irish tour to kick off the year, it’s been announced that Chvrches will play two Irish shows in February. The Scottish synth-pop trio – who have just released their acclaimed third studio album Love Is Dead – will play Belfast’s Ulster Hall on February 19 and Dublin’s Olympia Theatre on February 21. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 9am from Ticketmaster.

  • The Coral Set For Belfast and Dublin Shows

    Set to be return with their ninth studio album, Move Through The Dawn, on August 17, English indie rock five-piece The Coral will stop off at shows in Belfast and Dublin in November. The James Skelly-fronted band will play Belfast’s Limelight 2 on Wednesday, November 21 and the Academy in Dublin on Thursday, November 22.   • Jon Hopkins Set For Vicar Street

    Fresh off the back of his appearance at Body & Soul in Co. Westmeath at the weekend, it’s been announced that Jon Hopkins will return to Ireland for a show at Vicar Street on October 18.   • Julian Casablancas + the Voidz Set For Vicar Street

    Fronted by Julian Casablanacas of the Strokes, The Voidz will play an exclusive Irish show at Dublin’s Vicar Street on October 26. The U.S. six-piece released their second studio album, Virtue, back in March. Tickets for the Dublin show are priced €36.50 and go on sale this Friday at 10am.

  • Clairo Set For Academy 2 Show

    Perhaps best known for her 2017 gem ‘Pretty Girl’, Massachusetts lo-fi pop artist Claire Cottrill AKA Clairo will play Dublin’s The Academy 2 on September 16. The musician and singer recently dropped a six-track EP, which included a collaboration with Rejjie Snow. Tickets for the show are priced at €16.85 and go on sale tomorrow (Tuesday, June 19) at 4pm.

  • Boy Pablo To Play Button Factory

    19-year-old Norwegian musician Pablo Muñoz AKA Boy Pablo has been making some waves as a bedroom indie-pop contender over the last few months. Having recently shared single ‘Losing You’, and with a new EP expected in the coming months, he will play Dublin’s Button Factory on October 28. Tickets for the show are priced at €27 and go on sale on Thursday at 9am.

  • Dream Wife To Play Dublin and Galway

    Icelandic-Brightonian punk rock three-piece Dream Wife will play two Irish dates in October. As part of a forthcoming European tour, Rakel Mjöll, Alice Go and Bella Podpadec will stop off at Dublin’s Whelan’s on October 17 Galway’s Roisin Dubh on October 18. Tickets are priced at €13.00 and go on sale this Wednesday at 9am.

  • IDLES Set For Whelan’s Show

    Following their blistering outdoor show at Energia Park yesterday, it’s been announced that one of the most vital bands around, English punk rock five-piece IDLES will play Dublin’s Whelan’s on October 22. The show will take place as part of the band’s first ever world tour off the back of the release of their forthcoming second album, Joy As An Act of Resistance, which is out via Partisan on August 31. Priced €16.50, tickets go on sale on Thursday at 10am.
