Doubling up as his first Irish solo show in six years, Kurt Vile will return to play Dublin in the summer. Marking the last date in a forthcoming European tour, the Pennsylvanian artist will stop off at Vicar Street on Friday, June 12th. DC post-hardcore legends Jawbox will play their first-ever Irish show in the summer. Comprising J. Robbins, Bill Bardot, Kim Coletta and Zach Barocas, the band will stop off at Whelan’s in Dublin on June 9th as part of a forthcoming European tour. English neo-psych maestros Temples will play Dublin in the spring. The trio, who released one of the albums of the year in Hot Motion in September, will return to the city to play the Button Factory on 2nd March 2020. Tickets cost €18.50 and go on sale on Friday at 10am.

Blanck Mass is set for a couple of Irish shows next year. The scintillating noise project of Benjamin John Power of Fuck Buttons, Blanck Mass will stop off at Belfast’s Ulster Sports Club on Friday, March 13th and Dublin’s Workman’s Club on March 14th. The Flaming Lips will make their return to Galway next year. The Wayne Coyne-fronted psych-pop maestros – who last played the festival last year – will play the Big Top at Galway Arts Festival on Saturday, July 18th. Hands down one of the greatest songwriters alive today, Richard Dawson will return to play a couple of Irish shows in 2020.
