Last night Le Galaxie launched their interactive partnership with Pulse by Absolut at Dublin’s Academy with the release of their video for ‘Carmen’, the Dublin band’s new single featuring May Kay from Fight Like Apes. Le Galaxie granted Shaun Neary exclusive backstage and soundcheck access leading up to the main event. American metal quartet Mastodon have confirmed they will be playing show in Belfast and Dublin later on this year. The group will be performing in the Academy on Wednesday November 19 and Belfast’s Limelight 1 on Thursday, November 20 . The band will be touring with their sixth album Once More Around The Sun. Irish group Raglans have announced that they will be going on a short tour of Ireland to coincide with the release of their debut album. The tour will kick off with a performance at The Academy, Dublin on the 29th of March before moving on to Cork, Limerick, Portlaoise and Galway on the 2nd to the 5th respectively. Tickets for The Academy performance are available from Ticketmaster for €12.50 and go on sale Thursday, January 30.
