Belfast venue The Limelight have announced a hugely impressive Rock Against Racism line-up for Friday, June 20. Set to play on the night is the veritable cream of the crop of Northern Irish music: North Coast post rock quartet And So I Watch You From Afar, rockers The Answer (Acoustic), General Fiasco (also acoustic; a rare appearance from a band on hiatus), Lisburn alt-rock masters Mojo Fury, Belfast-based prog-rock band Kasper Rosa, alt-punk four-piece Empty Lungs and more acts yet to be announced. Kicking off in exactly three months time, the two headliners for this year’s Sunflowerfest have been announced at Belfast’s Sunflower Bar. Taking place across the weekend of August 22-25, English dance act The Orb and Co. Down rock quartet The Answer (pictured) were revealed as this year’s headliners, set to perform on the Friday and Saturday night respectively. With the rest of the line-up yet to be announced, tickets for the festival are currently available to buy via the official Sunflowerfest website.

Downpatrick rockers The Answer have announced that they will release their fourth studio album, New Horizon, on September 30 via Napalm Records. The band’s first full-length release since 2011’s Revival, the late Storm Thorgerson worked with the band on the album’s artwork. The Answer will play Belfast’s Limelight 2 on Friday, October 11 and Dublin’s Whelan’s on Saturday, October 12.
