Irish community festival Féile takes place at The Falls Park with several acts including the Coronas confirmed so far. On August 4, Madchester legends Happy Mondays perform joint headline duties alongside The Charlatans.
Formed around frontman Shaun Ryder in 1980, Happy Mondays were a crucial act in the drug-fuelled Madchester movement of the later '80s/early '90s. Their finest album Pills 'n' Thrills and Bellyaches was released in 1990, and cemented their legacy in British music.
West Midlands alt-rock act The Charlatans, fronted by Tim Burgess, formed in 1989 and have remained together since. This performance at Féile marks the 15th anniverary of their Tellin' Stories LP. The band are currently working on their 12th studio album.
