Soul/funk/R&B/gospel singer Charles Bradley is to play with His Extraordinaires for a Strange Victory show at the Empire on October 4.
Having been signed to Daptone Records and stuck in the rut of releasing singles from 2002, it took until 2011 to release Bradley's debut abum No Time For Dreaming. His incredible life story was documented on 2012 film 'Soul Of America', about spending his life on the streets, a stint as a James Brown impersonator and his brother being murdered. This helped propel the artist to stardom, and his second album Victim of Love was released in April.
Tickets are available from Ticketmaster & Head Records in Belfast for £14 + booking fee. Doors open at 8.30pm.
