    Cut the Transmission

Derry post-hardcore trio Fighting With Wire, who recently announced their impending dissolution, are to play their final show in Derry's The Venue as part of the Cut The Transmission festival on Saturday September 28.

Long-time FWW pal Frank Turner is to play with his backing band The Sleeping Souls and Future of the Left play their first ever show in Northern Ireland. Smalltown America acts More Than Conquerors & LaFaro and FWW labelmates Jim Lockey & The Solemn Sun also provide support at the event. ASIWYFAThe Wood Burning SavagesLittle HooksMaking Monsters and Droids round off the lineup.

Formed in late 2003, Fighting With Wire were catapulted to great success with their 2008 debut album Man vs Monster, but unfortunately momentum was somewhat halted and the band released Colonel Blood, their follow up, 4 years later. Their breakup was announced at their final Belfast show in February at the Limelight 1.

Tickets are available from the Millennium Forum. Gates open at 2pm.
