Bona fide legends of rock & roll The Who have announced UK dates as part of their 'Quadrophenia & More' tour of 2013. They're to play Dublin's O2 on June 8, then Belfast's Odyssey Arena on June 10.
The Who's Quadrophenia was their second rock opera - after 1969's Tommy - and was based around social, psychological and musical changes, set in England in 1965 and the film was released in 1979. The new concert version of Quadrophenia, directed by Roger Daltrey, focuses on the album and replaces the narrative with a powerful visual show.
Support comes from Hollywood's soul & rock act Vintage Trouble, who released their first studio album The Bomb Shelter Sessions in 2011.
Tickets are available from Ticketmaster, priced from £65 at the Odyssey show.
