Shellac -One of Steve Albini's most notable noise rock acts - are to play Belfast's Limelight 2 on November 21 as part of a UK tour, culminating in a show at All Tomorrow's Parties in Brighton at the end of the month.
Formed in 1992 by Steve Albini, Bob Weston & Todd Trainer, the trio have always described themselves at a 'minimalist rock trio' and are known for their visceral angularity. The band has released 5 albums so far and Albini said back in April that a new album was 'just about finished'.
Support comes from Helen Money, an LA-based songwriter & cellist, who released her first solo album in 2007.
Tickets are available from Ticketmaster, Katy's Bar and the usual outlets.
