Limerick irish Celtic-tinged alternative outfit The Cranberries play an acoustic show at the Waterfront Hall on May 17.

Formed in 1989 and fronted by Dolores O'Riordan, the act incorporated indie-pop, post-punk, pop rock and tradition and jangly indie elements. They sold over 40 million albums throughout the 90s. They debuted with Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We? which brought the band international success, with one of their biggest hits, 'Linger'.

Tickets cost £38-£52.50, available from Ticketmaster. Doors open at 7pm.
