The incredibly young North London jazz musician Jacob Collier plays The Academy on November 23.
Discovered when his homemade split-screen covers on YouTube went viral and subsequently signed up to Quincy Jones' management agency, he fuses elements of jazz, soul, a cappella, folk, classical and plenty more. He's currently working on commissioned arrangements for high-calibre orchestras and bands around the world, being featured on Snarky Puppy recordings. His debut album In My Room came out last year, reaching #1 on several key jazz charts. Check out 'Hideaway'.
