Scottish noise-pop legends The Jesus and Mary Chain play Vicar Street on October 17.
Formed in East Kilbride, just outside Glasgow, by brothers William & Jim Reid, Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie brought them to the attention of Creation Records' Alan McGee. The band's debut album Psychocandy came out in 1983, which went on to be a quintessential album, helping create noise-pop & shoegaze. Here's the video for 'Just Like Honey'. This show comes following the release of their first album in almost 2 decades, Damage and Joy.
Tickets are available from Ticketmaster, priced €40. Doors open at 8pm.
