Almost unarguably the most important band in rock music since Nirvana happened, Queens of the Stone Age make their Dublin pitstop on the Villains world tour at the 3Arena on November 24.
Homme formed the band in 1996 in Palm Desert out of the ashes of stoner rock legends Kyuss, incorporating the robotic elements of Neu! with the dry bluesiness of ZZ Top and the likes. Releasing several genre-definers like Rated R & Songs For The Deaf solidified their standing as the best rock band 0f the 21st century, and with their Mark Ronson-produced seventh album, Villains their most acclaimed in the mainstream to date, the band are set to keep growing. They're phenomenal live, so catch them if you haven't already. Check out 'The Evil Has Landed' from their latest.
