Moving On Music bring Lau back to Belfast after two years for a show at the Black Box as part of the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival's Out To Lunch series, performing on January 24.
Having been crowned Best Folk Group at the BBC Radio Two Folk Awards four times, Lau are widely regarded as one of the most inventive bands around. They comprise three gifted musicians in Martin Green on accordion/electronics, Aidan O'Rourke on fiddle & electronics & Kris Drever on vocals and guitar.
For over a decade they have been stretching folk music's boundaries and exploring new musical territory, from South Korean and Japanese experimental music to the New York folk scene. Check them out at the BBC Folk Awards.
