    Michael Hurley

    The Grand Social

One of the key Greenwich folk singers from the 60s & 70s, and a true outsider folk artist, Michael Hurley plays a rare Irish date at the Grand Social on June 28.

Joining the beatniks in NYC Greenwich village, he's went on to become a cult crossover figure for indie rockers, Americana fans, hippies and freak folkers, finding new ears as decades go on. Devendra Banhart has recorded Hurley on his label, with more recent releases from Missippi Records. Listen to 'Be Kind To Me'.

Supporting are Dublin's The Oxo Boys. Check them out live in the Cobblestone

Tickets, priced €16, are available from Doors open at 8pm.
