Belfast-based composer Neil Foster launches his new album Hiraeth at East Belfast's Framewerk Gallery on October 13.
A cinematically-minded sonic artist, the album blends piano, synth, textural layering, vocal samples, birdsong and ambient beats to evoke quiet dreams, big spaces and the call of the wild in this unique unison of sound and song. Check out his work on Bandcamp.
Visual artists Eoin McGinn and Jonathan Brennan have created artwork & experimental video work to accompany the album, and these will be presented alongside it on the night.
Support comes from Róisín Whyte.
Admission is free, doors open at 7.30pm and it's BYO event.
