Glen Hansard returns for what will be a pair of sold out Vicar Street shows on December 19 & 20.
Obviously well-known for his 25 years in The Frames, as well as his actor/musician role in the film Once and its accompanying folk project, The Swell Season, which earned him a number of awards and nominations. Hansard quit school at 13 to busk on Dublin streets, forming the Frames in 1990 and appearing in The Commitments the following year after attending the New York Film Academy School of Acting. He's went on to become an national institution for songwriters.
His first solo album came out in 2012, followed up by the aforementioned Didn't He Ramble, with Between Two Shores coming out in January. His fourth solo album is set for release in early 2019.
