Rudeboy Screens w/Don Letts DJ Set

    The Belfast Barge

Rudeboy: The Story Of Trojan Records tells the story of Jamaican & British youth culture through that most iconic of labels, and gets a screening at CQAF's Out To Lunch programme at the Belfast Barge on January 11.

Combining archival footage, interview and drama, Rudeboy tells the story of the British underclass in the late 60s and early 70s, the integration of which revolutionised popular music & culture. Featured are Lee 'Scratch' Perry, Toots Hibbert, Neville Staple and many, many more.

Radio 6Music DJ Don Letts, founder of Big Audio Dynamite and man largely responsible for bringing punk & reggae audiences together, is set to DJ the event.

Tickets cost £12 from Ticketsolve. Doors open at 7.15pm.
