Another coup for the Out To Lunch 2018 programme of Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival is star-studded roots act The Dodge Brothers in afternoon and evening shows at the Black Box on January 12.
They'll be performing from their long-awaited new album Drive Train, bringing their hybrid of country blues, rockabilly, jugband & skiffle. The band features Mike Hammond, Mark Kermode - yep - Aly Hirji & Alex hammond on electric & acoustic instruments, each with an American twang. Frontman Mike Hammon was raised in Alabama and has performed across the south & west of the US.
Tickets, priced £10 and £12 for afternoon & evening shows respectively, are available from Ticketsolve. Doors open for each show at 1.45pm & 7.45pm.
