Ennio Morricone - Last Ever Irish Concert

    3Arena

    Dublin

    morricone

The 3Arena hosts iconic Italian film composer Ennio Morricone - who reshaped the sound of cinema - on Saturday, September 23, in the return Irish leg of his final farewell 60 Years of Music as he turns 90 years old.

He'll be conducting, accompanied by over 200 musicians and singers onstage, as with previous tours, performing classics and originals from his Oscar-winning scores.

Known best for his work alongside Sergio Leone in his spaghetti Westerns - although he's composed for over 500 films - his scores are synonymous with the genre; most notably through arguably his all-time finest work in The Good, The Bad & The Ugly, and Once Upon A Time In The West. More recently he finally won an Academy Award for Best Original Score for Tarantino's The Hateful Eight, which also earned him his sixth BAFTA & third Golden Globe.

Tickets, priced from €107, are available from Ticketmaster.
