Cognitive neuroscientist Dr Niamh Kennedy hosts an event for NI Science Festival at the Black Box alongside Belfast harpist Ursula Burns on February 17.
The two will be exploring the neuroscience of music and how the brain controls movement, building on Kennedy's research of imaging the brains of harpists. The interactive demonstrations shows how the brain works while playing instruments, featuring a new piece from Ursula Burns in which she simultaneously plays piano & harp, while Niamh live images her brain with data visualisation.
Tickets cost £5 here. The event runs from 4pm-5.30pm.
