    Olympia Theatre

English electronic pop act Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark play The Olympia on October 24 as part of their 40th Anniversary World Tour.

Formed in 1978, based around Andy McCluskey & Paul Humphreys, they released their influential debut single 'Electricity' in 1979, followed up by 1980 anti-war song 'Enola Gay'. Their Architecture & Morality LP solidified their status as one of new wave's premier acts. They continued on in 1989 after the departure of long-term members, before reuniting in 2005, during which time they've released three more albums. This tour will see them joined by Martin Cooper & Stuart Kershaw, and follows the anniversary reissues of their first four classic albums.

Tickets cost €45.20 from Ticketmaster. Doors open at 7pm.
