Piss Rainbow bring another night of experimental music to Jigsaw on April 14.  Todmorden/Huddersfield wunderkinder of drone/noise/folk dreamscapes Sophie Cooper - also of Tor Invocation Band + Leopard Leg - and Julian Bradley - also of Vibracathedral Orchestra - AKA The Slowest Lift, get together to forge a ghostly tapestry of earthen whirring, phantasmal resonances, sheets of textured skree and touching, hazy vocals, which stir the waters of the soul and evoke strange landscapes in the mind. Listen to their 2017 eponymous LP.

Manchester-based artist Kelly Jayne Jones supports. Making use of varying combinations of prepared recordings, text, rocks, found sounds and flute, she has collaborations with Sam Weaver (Cusp Editions), Andie Brown and Hannah Ellul from Psykick Dancehall (White Death). She has a solo cassette release on the label Winebox Press in an edition of 63, hand made wooden boxes. KJJ has had residencies at Arnolfini in Bristol UK and Kunstalle Bergen, Norway, and commissioned works for Haris Epaminonda at dOCUMENTA13, Tate Modern, ICA London, Schirn Frankfurt, Point Centre Nicosia. She has worked on various projects, solo and part wild horses mane on both sides, at CCA Glasgow, Trieze Gallery Paris, Borealis Festival & Kunsthalle Bergen Norway, Tectonics contemporary music festival Reykjavik, Hangar Bicocca gallery, Milan and for Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival in Nov 2016.

The duo of Aoife Nessa Francis and Cian Nugent, King Snif, features droning, interweaving guitars, and opening is Rachel Ni Chuinn, whose improvised performances recall Pauline Oliveros, combining sound, movement, text & electronics.

Admission costs €10 and doors open at 8pm. It's a BYOB event.
