One of Belfast's newest independent labels, Black Tragick Records, holds a showcase night at Voodoo on April 4, headlined by 'An Auld Lad', presumably Robyn G Shiels.

It will function as a launch for the debut album from Oisín ó Scolaí & The Virginia Slims - watch the video for 'Holiday Homes' - minimal banjo & vocal human nature observer, Hatchet Field, riff-rockers Calling All Horses, indie rock project Franklyn with a DJ set from Michael McKeegan, aka the Evil Priest.

Admission costs £7. Doors open at 8pm.
