One of our favourite bands on the island, and easily one of the most fascinating live propositions, The Bonk, play a headline show for Enthusiastic Eunuch on October 11 at the Sound House. Centred around the compositions of Phil Christie - formerly of O Emperor - the band takes vintage, twisted rhythm & blues of the 60s, blended with psych, jazz, and a bit of some otherness entirely. Listen to The Bonk Seems To Be A Verb, one of our favourite albums of 2017.
Dublin singer & multi-instrumentalist John Francis Flynnplays music centred around traditional and folk from Ireland and abroad. He founded Skipper's Alley, who have toured internationally, and has recorded with the likes of Lankum & Ye Vagabonds.
Tickets are available from Billetto, priced €15. Doors open at 6pm.
