Galway-based electronic producer Daithí is set to play a headline full band show at Cyprus Avenue on November 15.
The pop experimentalist has managed to combine seemingly disparate elements - field recordings, house music, old Irish music, analog synths and trad - into his unmistakable singular output. His live show is largely improvised, whereby he spontaneously creates dance music with looped fiddle, synths and drum machines - this time expanding to live acoustic & electronic performance.
He last year collaborated with genre-spanning Irish artists to great success - check it out here - and used a recording of his elderly grandmother in a hugely successful single, 'Mary Keane's Introduction' last year.
Tickets cost €15 from Old Oak & Cyprus Avenue. Doors open at 7.30pm.
