One of Time Magazine's 100 most influential people, writer, journalist & podcast host Malcolm Gladwell presents his new book, Talking To Strangers at the Olympia Theatre on November 29.
The book's premise is as follows: "How do we make sense of the unfamiliar? Why are we so bad at judging someone, reading a face, or detecting a lie? Why do we so often fail to 'get' other people? In a powerful and provocative exploration of why we so often misread other people, Gladwell takes us on a journey through the unexpected. From the spy who spent years undetected at the highest levels of the Pentagon, to the suicide of the poet Sylvia Plath, we discover that strangers are never simple. Few have the ability to show us who we are like Malcolm Gladwell. So join him as he sets out to understand why we act the way we do, and how we all might know a little more about those we don't."
Tickets are priced from €22.90 from Ticketmaster, and doors open at 7pm.
