• Django Django, Lankum and More Set for eir Other Voices

    With the likes of Aine Cahill, Perfume Genius, and Songhoy Blues already announced, three new acts have been added to the bill for this year’s eir Other Voices in Dingle. Set to return to return across December 1-3, the annual Wild Atlantic Way festival has revealed that Django Django (pictured), Lankum, Loyle Carner and Booka Brass Band will make an appearance at St. James’ Church at this year’s outing.   • Yo La Tengo Set For Olympia Theatre Show

    Having last played the city back in 2015 at National Concert Hall, it’s been announced that New Jersey indie rock legends Yo La Tengo will return to Dublin on Saturday, April 28 for a show at the Olympia Theatre.   • Moon Duo To Make Dublin Return

    Hands down one of the finest cosmically-inclined twosomes in existence, Portland’s Sanae Yamada and Ripley Johnson AKA Moon Duo have announced that they will return to play Dublin early next year. The pair – who released the two-installment Occult Architecture Vol 1 and 2 this year – will stop off at Dublin’s Button Factory on Friday, January 26.   • Iron Maiden Announce Belfast Show

    Having played Dublin’s 3Arena back in May, heavy metal overlords Iron Maiden have announced that they will play Belfast’s SSE Arena as part of their Legacy of the Beast European Tour on August 2.   • Jeff Lynne’s ELO To Play Dublin and Belfast

    Having last stopped off on these shores last year, Jeff Lynne’s downright legendary ELO have announced two Irish arena shows for October next year Rounding out a string of European dates, the band will play Dublin’s 3Arena and Belfast’s SSE Arena on Thursday, October 25 and Friday, October 26 respectively.   • The Streets Set For Two Dublin Shows

    Last month, Mike Skinner announced the Streets would reform for a six-date UK greatest hits tour. The good news? The run, named The Darker the Shadow the Brighter The Light tour, will now also take in Dublin’s Olympia Theatre on April 16 and 17. Tickets for the show are €49.50 and go on sale on Wednesday, November 15 at 9am.

  • Flight of the Conchords Add Extra Date at 3Arena

    With a first date set for March 25 having sold out in a minutes, Grammy Award-winning folk comedy duo Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie AKA Flight of the Conchords have announced an extra date at Dublin’s 3Arena on April 2. Tickets for the show – which takes place as part of their “Flight of the Conchords sing Flight of the Conchords Tour” – cost €28 and go on sale on Friday, November 3 at 10am.

  • Gorillaz Confirmed For Malahide Castle

    And there you have it. Confirming what we were all lead to believe at the start of the week, it’s been announced that Gorillaz will play Dublin’s Malahide Castle on Saturday, June 9. Tickets for the show – which go on sale next Thursday, November 9 at 9am – are priced at €69.50. The world’s finest virtual band – formed by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett back in 1998 – released their fifth studio album, Humanz, back in April. Gorillaz last performed in Dublin at 3Arena (or what was then known as The O2 – back in November 2010.

  • Tears For Fears and Alison Moyet to Play Dublin’s 3Arena

    If you haven’t already spent your life savings on the deluge of must-attend shows being announced for next year, here’s another one for the calendar. Supported by Alison Moyet, English new wave maestros Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith AKA Tears For Fears will headline Dublin’s 3Arena on May 2, 2018. Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday, November 3. Pre-sale tickets are available here. The pair – who release their new Greatest Hits album Rule The World on November 10 – have sold over 30 million albums worldwide.

  • Liam Gallagher to Make Dublin and Belfast Return

    As expected, Liam Gallagher has confirmed that he will play Dublin’s Malahide Castle on Friday, June 15. The Oasis frontman – who has just released his debut solo album As You Were – will also play Belfast’s Ormeau Park as part of Belsonic 2018 on Saturday, June 16. The Malahide Castle show will be Gallagher’s bigger Irish headline show, having already sold out dates at The Olympia Theatre and Weston Airport this year. Tickets – which go on sale next Friday at 9am – are priced €49.90 and £40.00 respectively.
