  • Frame by Frame #009: Sullivan & Gold – Glory

In the ninth installment of Frame by Frame, Belfast-based photographer and filmmaker Colm Laverty talks to Ben Robinson from Derry acoustic duo Sullivan & Gold and director Michael Barwise about the former’s recent, rather lovely video for their single ‘Glory’. Hi guys. First off, tell us a little bit about each of your roles on this music video. Michael: I was director and editor on the video. In a sentence, what sets ‘Glory’ apart from other Northern Irish music videos? Ben: We’ve wanted to keep Sullivan & Gold something quite organic and homely. Forget Myself was one of the ‘poppier’…

  • Video exclusive: Sullivan & Gold – Please Repeat

Following our two previous video exclusives with the pair, we’re happy to present a first look at the video for ‘Please Repeat’ by Derry singer-songwriter duo Sullivan & Gold. Continuing in their series of live cuts from their debut album For Foes, the video for the track – shot and edited by PIGMINTFILM – features Ben Robinson and Adam Montgomery delving underground in song – a visual stark contrast to their two previous visual accompaniments for both ‘Nobody Loves You‘ and ‘Glory‘. Sullivan & Gold have a few dates on the horizon. Check them and the video for ‘Please Repeat’ out below. Thursday,…

Shot in the charming, coffee-scented surroundings of Lost & Found Bar and Cafe on Queen Street, Coleraine, the video was shot by PIGMINTFILM. • Watch: Sullivan & Gold – Glory

Having descended from The Good Fight, Derry singer-songwriter duo Adam Montgomery and Ben Robinson AKA Sullivan & Gold have unveiled the video to their new single, ‘Glory’. Vividly capturing a sense of everyday paralysis and unspoken interpersonal deliberation – much like the videos for Feet For Wings‘ ‘Cathedral St.’ and Kodaline’s ‘All I Want’ – the video features a cameo from the duo’s fellow Smalltown America-signed songsmith, Our Krypton Son. ‘Glory’ is the second single taken from Sullivan & Gold’s hugely promising debut album, For Foes. Check out the video for the song – shot and edited by Michael Barwise…
