A new, three-day event with the aim of “creating a unique opportunity in Ireland to listen to the best industry professionals talk about their work and experiences, see the best new talent perform and enjoy plenty of opportunities to network with speakers and delegates over 3 days of intimate social gatherings and shows, all in the most fun and friendly city in Ireland” Music Cork will hit Leeside this May 10-12.
With more yet to be announced, speakers including United Talent Agency UK’s Head of Music Geoff Meall, Leighton Pope agent Sarah Casey, Decca Records’ Rebecca Allen, artist manager Ricardo F Zambak, Island Records present Darcus Beese and Universal Music UK’s Adam Barker have already been confirmed.
One of Music Cork’s organisers, Jim Lawless said, “We aim to provide an opportunity for some of the best new Irish artists to be seen by the high calibre of international industry professionals attending. It will also be a great opportunity to be showcased as part of an event that will be a new focus for the best of the Music Industry in Ireland.”
As well as all of the above, there will be opportunities for attendees to network with some of the industry’s top minds on the MusicCork Pub Crawls, at a networking breakfast and during Friday’s Networking Day Trip.
