Under The Drum Festival Announces First Ever Programme

A brand new music festival set at the foot of the County Antrim Hills, just thirty minutes from Belfast, is set to hold its first ever iteration on Saturday 28th September. Set just outside Ballyclare, it takes its name from Drumadarragh, one of the hills overlooking its intimate setting of Breckenhill.

Atop the bill are NI Music Prize-winning alternative folk artists, the supremely talented Joshua Burnside and Arborist, with the likes of indie-psych quartet Junk Drawer, Galway garage punk masters Oh Boland, Derry alt-pop artist Roe, experimental rock quartet Blue Whale, Brand New FriendCian Nugent, London act ArlistonSusie Blue, jangle-pop master Neil BroganDemi O’Hara and more.

Under The Drum aims to be as inclusive – with disabled access for those who need it – and sustainable as possible, offering a reusable cup system and encouraging refillable water bottles. Food & coffee trucks will be available all day and into the next morning, with an on-site bar too. The site will open at 11am on Saturday 28th September, closing at 1pm on the Sunday for campers. Main stage performances will be over by 11.30pm.

Early bird tickets are priced at £45 for a day pass and £60 for camping, rising to £55 and £70 respectively once those are sold out. Tickets are available here.
