    Part avant-garde music act, part multimedia project, they've released over 60 albums, as well as countless music videos, short films, and DVDs. Former manager & primary composer and producer of the Residents, Hardy Fox, passed away in 2018, having left the group in 2015. Their latest record, Metal, Meat & Bone - The Songs of a Dyin' Dog came out in 2020.

    Post-hardcore legends Jawbox make their first ever Irish appearance at Whelan's on June 7, following some rescheling of dates.

    Formed by J Robbins & Kim Coletta in Washington DC in 1989, they released a string of 7"s and four studio albums, ultimately breaking up in 1997. Its members continued to work - to varying degrees - in the music industry, with Robbins & guitarist Bill Barbot forming Burning Airlines, and Coletta co-running a label.     West-Midlands grindcore legends Napalm Death return to Ireland for the firs time since 2017, playing Dublin's Voodoo Lounge on July 17, following its rescheduling.

    Formed in 1981, they're credited as pioneers of grindcore, bringing elements of crust punk & death metal, and still have the shortest song ever recorded in 'You Suffer' from their classic 1987 debut, Scum. They've released sixteen albums to date, showing remarkable evolution over the years.
