Limp Bizkit are coming to Belfast next year. The nu-metal legends – who have also just revealed that they are headlining next year’s Download Festival – will play Ormeau Park in Belfast on Wednesday, 12th June 2024. Specials are to be announced. It’s the latest big name announced for Belsonic 2024, with the likes of Sting and Blondie, and Scooter (two separate shows but imagine) announced for next June. Tickets for Limp Bizkit go on sale this Friday, 8th December at 9am.

LCD Soundsystem will headline a stacked bill at Malahide Castle next summer. The James Murphy-fronted six-piece return to the open air venue on 26th June 2024 for their first show since 2018, when they played their “second longest ever show”. Sealing the deal is a bill featuring Idles, Young Fathers and Shit Robot. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 9am, priced €69.90.

The Jesus and Mary Chain have announced their return to Ireland. Led by brothers Jim and William Reid, the Scottish noise pop legends will play Dublin’s Olympia Theatre on 25th and Limelight 1 in Belfast on 26th March. As well as marking the 40th anniversary of their formation, the shows will coincide with the release of their eighth studio album, Glasgow Eyes, which is out on March 8th 2024. PJ Harvey has announced she will play Belfast next year. Two months from an extraordinary set at 3Olympia in Dublin, Harvey’s show at Custom House Square on Thursday, 22nd August doubles up as her only Irish show of 2024. It’s the English artist’s first show in city since playing Waterfront Hall back in 2004. Pre-sale for tickets on sale tomorrow, 28th November at 10am. Mitski has announced her return to Dublin. The indie rock trailblazer will play her biggest Irish headliner to date at 3Arena on 4th May 2024.
