Having already announced the likes of Girl Band, Wild Beasts and Waze & Odyssey, Castlepalooza have today unveiled a new host of acts set to play this year’s festival, which returns to Tullamore’ Charleville Castle across August 4-6. With many more acts yet to be announced, Girl Band (an Irish festival exclusive, we’re told), Wild Beasts, David Kitt and Waze & Odyssey are amongst the first names set to play this year’s Castlepalooza when it returns to Charleville Castle in Tullamore across August 4-6, Shit Robot, I Have a Tribe, Heroes in Hiding, King Bones and Lumo Club are also amongst the first names. Elsewhere, Colm O’Regan, Kevin McGahern, PJ Gallagher and Deirdre O’Kane are the first comedy acts confirmed for the Laughter Lab. Tickets are now available to buy, ranging from €59 to €119.

Set to return to Charleville Castle in Tullamore in Co. Offaly this weekend, the line-up for this year’s Castlepalooza is a perfectly balanced affair boasting everyone from Caribou, Villagers and Jurassic 5 to Cat Power, Field Music and Cian Nugent. Marking its tenth anniversary, Castlepalooza will return to Charleville Castle, Tullamore in Co. Offaly from July 1 to July 3 this year. With more acts to be revealed in the coming weeks, Caribou, Jurassic 5, Cat Power, Villagers, Romare, Colm Mac Con Iomaire and Cork’s The Altered Hours are amongst the first acts announced to play the annual summer festival.
