With just over five weeks to go to this year’s outing, Metropolis have announced new additions for its Saturday line-up. Off the back of Villagers recently being announced to headline and curate the Saturday at the festival, Friendly Fires, Booka Brass, David Keenan and Master of Ceremonies David O’Doherty have all been added. The fourth edition of Metropolis takes place at Dublin’s RDS across on Saturday, October 27th and Sunday, October 28th. Ranging in price, tickets are available to buy here now.

Dublin’s annual October Bank Holiday fest Metropolis always deliver with the line-ups, and it seems that this year is going to be no exception. Ahead of many more acts to be announced, Mac DeMarco, Blood Orange, Villagers, Roisin Murphy, The Black Madonna, Young Fathers, Grandbrothers and Gwenno are amongst the first names confirmed to play the RDS across October 27-28. Promising, once more, music, performance, conversation and installation for its fourth edition, tickets go on sale at Friday, August 24 at 9am, ranging from €49.50 to €115.00. Metropolis 2017 kicks off on a chillingly Irish Saturday afternoon, with only the bricks and mortar of the RDS and surrounding bodies to fend off the cold.
