A fully-funded career development accelerator programme designed to help new musicians break through in music industry, the initiative has seen the likes of Kitt Philippa, Sister Ghost, Wynona Bleach, Strange New Places and countless other acts pass through its ranks over the years. Belfast’s Oh Yeah Centre have announced the five acts that will take part in this year’s installment of their talent development programme, Scratch My Progress. Having expanded from four acts to five this year, the programme has chosen indie-pop band Hurdles, singer-songwriter Matthew Duly, indie-punk act Hot Cops and Belfast alt-rock five-pieces Setotonin and R51. After two successful annual campaigns to date, Belfast’s Oh Yeah Centre are once more on the look-out for young musical talent to apply for their ‘Scratch My Progress’ programme.
