Making their first appearance in Ireland in five years, The Antlers are set to play the Sugar Club on April 30 in what will be an appropriately intimate, subdued setting for the cinematic outfit. Having not played together since 2015, following the release of their last album, Familiars, the band has announced a vinyl reissue of their career-defining album, Hospice, on its tenth anniversary. The album, which featured Sharon Van Etten on vocals, was one of the finest to come from the emotive rock movement of the noughties. For this particular AAA (Access All Areas) we met with Enemies and got an exclusive access into the preparations for their supporting gig with The Antlers in the Olympia Theatre, Dublin. Brooklyn indie rockers The Antlers will be paying Dublin a visit this October this coincides with the release of the band’s fifth studio album, Familiars, due for release in June. The show will take place on October 10 at the Olympia Theatre, with tickets priced at €22.50. These go on sale this Friday May 9 at 9am. Last month The Antlers unveiled the video for ‘Palace’, the first single to be taken from Familiars. Watch it below.
