• Premiere: Tomorrows – Nightshade

    A self-proclaimed fuzzy account of a long night out in Dublin (hey, we’ve all been there) ‘Nightshade’ by Dublin quartet Tomorrows is a sorcerous five-minute effort that marries slick, woozy textures with an overarching air of wanderlust. Initial recordings for the track – which will feature on the band’s new album, The Night Chorus 1 – were made on an 8 track Tascam reel-to-reel machine, before being brought to Christian Best (O Emperor, Marlene Enright) who recorded the drums and mixed the track.     Featuring the ever encahnting Laura Sheeran, Dublin “cosmic-pop” quartet Tomorrows have unveiled the video for their new single ‘Ricochet’. Filmed by David O’Carroll of The People We Meet, Sheeran’s nocturnal traipse through the streets of Dublin town strikes a perfectly playful contrast with the track’s buoyant melodic flow. The single is a highlight from Tomorrows’ Trout Records-released album Another Life, which you can stream in full/buy here.

    With the turn of summer rather precariously around the corner, Dublin band Tomorrows have offered up a sun-kissed, melancholy-tinged one-track soundtrack in the form of ‘The Circle’. Conjuring the likes of the Spinto Band and Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin, the track follows on very nicely from the equally impressive ‘Another Life’ and ‘Free’, going that bit further and hitting home with its simple, warped pop wanderlust.
